INVITATION FOR BIDS
The University of Dar es Salaam has set aside funds for various activities during the financial year 2018/2019. It 15 intended that part of the funds will be applied to cover eligble payments under the contract for the tenders below.
The University of Dar es Salaam now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Vendor/National Contractors/Suppliers to bid the following tenders:

Bidding will be conducted through the NCB procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works. Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations. 2013 Government Notice No. 446 (Amendment, 2016) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
interested eligible Contractors/Bidders/suppliers may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary of University of Dar es Salaam Tender Board, P. 0. Box 35091, Dar es Salaam from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 50,000.00 (TAS Fifty Thousand Only, VAT inclusive). Payments should be made by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Bursar of the University of Dar es Salaam or UDSM, NMB, Income Account. No. 2081100017, then submit Original pay slip to Administration Block Office No. 200
All bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration in the format provided in the bidding documents.
All bids in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, enclosed in plain Envelope and must be delivered to the address below at or before at or before10:00hrs local time on 18.07.2019 for National Competitive Bidding (NCB).
Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the University of Dar es Salaam, (PMU) Office , Bookshop Building, Ground floor, Room No. 007.
Pre-tendering meeting and Site visit for Tender No. PA/011/2018-2019/W/34/Lot 2: Demolishing of existing Lifts, Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Testing of New Lifts at the University of Dar es Salaam Mwl. J. K. Nyerere Mlimani Campus Halls II and V will be on 11th July, 2019 at 10.00 am. The location for pre-tendering meeting and site visit will be conducted at University of Dar es Salaam Procurement Management Unit (PMU) Conference Room
Late Bids, Portion of Bids. Electronic Bids, Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
