Re-lnvitation for Tender No: PA/01 l/2018/2019/W/04 Lot 6:
Rehabilitation of Flat Roofs at University of Dar es Salaam-COICT, HALL II], VI & Mabibo Hostel
1 The University of Dar es Salaam has set aside funds for various activities during the financial year 2018/2019.It is intended that part of the funds will be applied to cover eligible payments under the contract for the works and provision of services.
2. The University of Dar es Salaam now invites sealed tenders from eligible “National” contractors registered as Roofing Specialist with Contractors Registration Board CRB class three (3) and above.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of UDSM Tender Board, P. O. Box 35091, Dar es Salaam from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 50,000.00 (Tanzanian shillings fifty thousand). Payment should be by Bank through A/C Name; UDSM INCOME ACCOUNT, A/C no. 2081100017 , payable to Bursar of the UDSM.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
7. All Tenders in one original plus two (2) copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary, University of Dar es Salaam Tender Board, Bookshop Building, First floor, office No. 07, P. O. Box 35091, P. 0. Box 35091 at or before 10.00 am on Thursday 5th September, 2019 Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives, who choose to attend in the opening at the Procurement Management Unit Conference Room.
8. Site and Pre-bid meeting will be held on 28th August, 2019, 10:00 am at UDSM PMU office.
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
