INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS
- NMB Bank Plc is the largest commercial bank in Tanzania in terms of network branches customer base profitably
- The NMB Bank Plc set aside funded for the year 2020 towards the construction repair and maintenance of its facility at head office has and branch network across the country. Its intend that part of these funds will be applied to eligible payments for provision of repair, maintenance and construction works for the bank
- NMB Bank Plc now invites all eligible qualified and competent building and civil contractors to apply for the pre-qualification of various of repair maintenance and construction works for the bank
- The selection of eligible and qualified contractors will be conducted through the competitive tendering procedures as specified in the NMB Bank procurement policy and procedure
- This prequalification of contractors is required for all 8 zones namely Dar es Salaam, Eastern, Central, Northern, Southern, Highlands Lake and Western. The required contractors are from class 1 to 7(both building and civil) and should be located/have office in the regions in where our zones are categorized. Selection of prequalification contractors will be pre each zone mentioned above details of the zone offices and selection criteria are as stipulated in the pre-qualification document
- A complete set of prequalification document in English shall be obtained by interesting applicants through NNMB website through this link www.nmbbank.co.tz/tender or through email request to procurement department via [email protected] contractors will be required to purchase the document at non-refundable fee of 50,000/= for each zone you are applying to and payable to NMB Account No 3020400002 Account name Tender Fess ant any NMB Branch. The original bank slip must be accompanied with the pre-qualification document upon submission as one of mandatory qualification criteria
- A prospective applicants requiring any clarification regarding this pre-qualification may send their request in writing to NMB Secretary Tender Committee through email address [email protected]. Any clarification/amendment of the pre-qualification document will be communicated through the same link of obtaining the tender document and can be accessible to all prospective applicants
- All current and previous prequalification contractors that are working with the bank or in the preferred list of all contractors are requested to apply
- The closing time and date for submission of written tenders is on Tuesday 24th March 2020 at 15 hours by that time your application document must be properly and submitted to the respective NMB Zonal Office that you are applying for with exception of Dar es salaam zone which must be submitted to NMB Head office as per the address provided in the pre-qualification document. The tender to be marked on top of the envelop PRE QUALIFICATION OF BUILDING AND CIVIL WORKS CONTRACTORS FOR …………….. ZONE NMB BANK PLC shall be entitled to reject any application received after the due date and time or application not received at the prospective zone. The address for delivery of the application for each zone are as indicated in the pre-qualification document obtained on our websites
- Late application, portion of application, electronic application and application not received not opened and not read out loud in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
