Chefs/ Cook
We are looking for chefs in our luxury lodge located in Northern Serengeti
Duties and Responsibility
– Prepare, cook abs present high quality dishes
– Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products
– Opening , closing procedure of kitchen & operate kitchen equipment
– Follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
– Set up workstations with required ingredients
– Maintain a clean and safe working area and able to maintain personal Hygiene
Qualification
At least 3 years of experience in similar position cooking in well established restaurant or hotel
You should ideally have at least diploma or certificate in Food and Beverage from recognized college
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Be able to work in a standing position and handle extreme heat
Knowledge of Standard procedures and policies pertaining to food and preparation, storage and sanitation
Awareness of menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
Ability to work under pressure
