PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR WATER WELLS (BOREHOLES)

DRILLING WORKS NO AE/102/2019/2020/DRM/PQ/W/01

1. The drilling section for RUWASA agency under the Ministry of water has set aside fund towards the cost of acquiring water wells (boreholes) Drilling contractors and its intend that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contracts for which this invitation for pre-qualification is issued
2. The drilling of RUWASA now invites sealed bids/applications form eligible applicants registered by CRB as well as licensed and registered drilling companies in class 1 OR 2 By ministry of water for Drilling Water Wells (Boreholes) As Brief Below

3. -qualification will be conducted through the national competitive bidding procedures specified in the public procurement (goods and works consultancy services and non-consultancy service and disposal of public asset by tender regulation 2013 government notice No. 446 published on 20.12.2013 and (amendment) regulation 2016 published on 31/12/2026 and is open to all eligible bidders/applicants as defined in the regulations

4. Interested bidders/applicants to be pre-qualified may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualification document at the office of the secretary RUWASA DELEGATED Tender Board Nearest to Water Institute , Off University Road(Mliman) P.O. BOX 55658 DSM from 8:30 to 3:30 PM on Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays

5. A complete set of pre-qualification document in English may be collected by interested bidders/applicants at DRM –RUWASA office (formally known as DDCA) After Applying And Receiving A Control Number To Make Payment Of A Non-Refundable Fee Of 150,000/= Payable to Drilling and Dam Construction Agency NMB A/C NO. 22201100010

Bring the deposit slip to DRM-RUWASA office on working days from 8:30 to 3:30 PM on Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays

6. All application for pre-qualification in one original plus one copy properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to Secretary, Tender RUWASA Delegated Tender Board, Nearest to Water Institute, off University Road(Mlimai) P.O. BOX 55658, DSM

At or before 11:00 local time on 10/04/2020 clearly marked Application for pre-qualification for water wells (boreholes) drilling works

Application will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of applicants representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the DRM-RUWASA Conference room MAJI COAST

7. Late application, portion of application, electronic application, application not received, application not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
