Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
which appeared in www.taneps.go.tz Issue no. NA dated 05/07/2021.
2. The Ministry of Minerals received/has applied for/intends to apply for a grant from
the WORLD BANK towards the cost of Tanzania Extractive Industries Accountability
and Governance Enhancement Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this
grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY
SERVICE FOR CARRYING OUT FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR SYSTEMATIC EITI DATA
DISCLOSURE AND DEVELOPING TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TOWARDS
ADOPTION OF AN ELECTRONIC PLATFORM (MAINSTREAMING OF EITI DATA
DISCLOSURE).
3. The Ministry of Minerals now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing
the services which include The consultancy is to carry out a feasibility study for systematic
EITI data disclosure and develop technical requirements to adopt an electronic platform for extractive sector data
6. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
Consultants may not associate to enhance their qualifications.
7. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
8. Selection will be conducted through the Consultants Qualification selection procedures
specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
9. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
Ministry of Minerals Offices, Kikuyu Avenue/ Boma Road, P.O Box 422, Dodoma.,[email protected] from 08:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
10. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 10/12/2021, 14:00
11. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
circumstances.
