CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR CARRYING OUT A SITUATION ANALYSIS ON GOOD GOVERNANCE IN ZANZIBAR
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
- The government of Zanzibar through the President’s Office Services and Good Governance will be undertaking a situation analysis on good governance in Zanzibar. The analysis will be provide information on the situation of good governance on the ground which seeks to improve strengthening of good governance endeavors in the island I
- The board objective of the assignment is to conduct a comprehensive situation analysis on good governance I n Zanzibar
- The Presidents’ Office invites eligible individual consultancy to express their interest to provide the above services. Interested individual must submit their details CVs and information indicating that they are qualified to perform the above services (description of similar assignment appropriate skills and qualification). The application must be submitted in English. Expression of interest receive late will not be considered for short listing
- A copy of instruction to consultancy indicating contract may be obtained by interested individual consultancy on the submission of a written request to the Director of Good Governance Department in Zanzibar or Tel +255 773 333 383 or +255 777 429 173 or via email [email protected]
- The consultancy will be shortlisted in accordance with individual consultancy procedures set out in the Zanzibar Public Procurement Procedures
- The minimum qualifications and requirements for consultants are
i. At least 5 years of experience in any of the following areas Law, Public Administration and Management, Democratic Governance, Human Rights and Good Governance
ii. Experience in applying quantitative and qualitative research method (research skills and statistical analysis practical experience)
iii. Experience in the field of good governance and formulation is required
iv. A strong record of conducting surveys
v. Extensive knowledge of a demonstrable experience in Zanzibar
vi. Ability to meet deadlines
TIME FRAME/DURATION
The duration of the consultancy will be 30 man days
- Interested individual consultancy may obtain further information from good governance department in Zanzibar at the address indicated above from 7:30 – 15:30 local time Monday – Friday , Deadline Is 30th July 2020
