REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENTERPRISES RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN TAZARA
- The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) has a set aside fund from its operations during the financial year 2019/2020. These funds used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the setting up and implementation of the enterprise risk management system in TZARA
- TAZARA now invites suitably qualified consultants to submit proposals for the setting up and implementation of ERM in TAZARA
- This invitation is open to national consultancy in the enterprise risk management
- The consultancy will be basis of quality and in accordance with the procedures described in this request for proposal which include the following sections
Section 1: instruction to consultants
Section 2: proposals data sheet
Section 3: general conditions of contract
Section 4: special conditions of contract
Section 5: proposals and contract form
Section 6: terms of reference
Section 7: undertaking by consultancy on-anti-bribery policy/code of conduct and compliance program
- Bidding will be conducted through the national opening competitive method bidding whose procedures are specified in the TAZARA Procurement& supplies of November 2011
- A complete set of tendering document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenders on the submission of a writer application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of USD200.00. PAYMENT SHOULD BE either by CASH, Banker’s Draft or banker’s cheque payable to Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority
- INTERESTED AND ELIGIBLE tenders may obtain further information and inspect the RFP document from the office of the Secretary of the Central Committee Room No 210 TAZARA Head Office, Nyerere/Mandela RD Junction P.O. BOX 2384 DSM, or the office of the Area Manager, TAZARA, Lusaka Area Office Dedani Kimathi Road P.O. BOX 31784 tazara House Kamwala Lusaka- Zambia on any day from 8:00-17:00 EAT AND CAT Monday-Friday exclusive the public holidays
- All bids in one original plus 2 copies properly filled and enclosed in plain envelopes and marked ”TENDER NO TZR/ 2019/2020/03 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENTERPRISES RISK MANAGEMENT” must be addressed to the address below Secretary of the Central Committee Room No 210 TAZARA Head Office, Nyerere/Mandela RD Junction P.O. BOX 2384 DSM, or the office of the Area Manager, TAZARA, Lusaka Area Office Dedani Kimathi Road P.O. BOX 31784 TAZARA House Kamwala Lusaka- Zambia on any day from 8:00-17:00 EAT AND CAT Monday-Friday exclusive the public holidays on 22 May 2020
- Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of the tenders representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at TAZARA Head Office Board Room in DSM OR TAZARA LUSAKA Area Board Room in Lusaka – Zambia
