INVITATION TO BID

FOR THE LEASE OF PLOT NO.305, TAZARA AREA, DAR ES SALAAM ON A BUILD LEASE OPERATE AND TRANSFER BASIS

1. The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority intends to lease plot no  305 measuring 33.8 Acres located within the TAZARA Area DSM Plot No. 305 is being leased on AS IS basis TAZARA shall bear no further liability during the lease period
2. TAZARA Now invites sealed tender for the lease of triangle plot no 305 on building lease operate and transfer basis
3. Tendering will be conducted through the national procedures which are specified in the TZARA procurement & suppliers manual of November 2011
4. Interested tenders may inspect triangle plot no 305 through the office secretary of the central Tender Committee at TAZARA Head Office room no 210 DSM on any day from Monday-Friday excluding public holidays between 8:00-17:00 HRS
5. INTERESTED AND ELIGIBLE tenders may obtain further information and inspect the tendering document from the office of the Secretary of the Central Committee Room No 210 TAZARA Head Office, Nyerere/Mandela RD Junction P.O. BOX 2384 DSM
6. A complete set of tendering document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenders on the submission of a writer application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of USD200.00.  PAYMENT SHOULD BE either by CASH, Banker’s Draft or banker’s cheque payable to Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority
7. All tenders in one original plus 2 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address indicated below at or before11:00 HRS EAT Friday 29^th May 2020.  Bids  will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend the opening ceremony at TAZARA Head Office Conference Room in DSM Tanzania
8. Late tenders a portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tenders opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
