INVITATION FOR TENDERS
FOR
SUPPLY OF 40 DESKTOP COMPUTERS FOR TANZANIA
NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY (TANROADS),
TENDER NO: AE/001/2020-21/HO/G/61
1. This Invitation for Bids (FB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) No. AfDB 1385-12/18 of 14th December 2018, and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www afdb.org).
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received a Credit from the African Development Bank (AfDB), to finance Multinational Rumonge – Gitaza (45km) and Kabingo – Kasulu-Manyovu (260.6 km) Road Upgrading Project, and intends to apply a part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Supply of 40 Desktop Computers for Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), Tender No:AE/001/2020-2L/HQ/G/61.
3. TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for Supply of 40 Desktop Computers for Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), Tender No: AE/001/2020-21/HQ/G/61.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender Board, 2″? Floor, 10 Shaaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction, Dar es Salaam from 8:00 hours to 16.30 hours local time, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on Public Holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document (s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderer upon submission of a written application to the address given in paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TShs. 100,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand only) which has to be paid with reference to Government’s e-Payment Gateway System (GePG) Control Number to be issued by the Accounts Section at TANROADS Headquarters.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All tenders in one (1) original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender 2™ Floor, Room No. 44, 10 Shaaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction, Dar es Salaam at or before 10:00 Hours local time on 23 November, 2021. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ Representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TANROADS Headquarters Conference Room, 2™ Floor, 10 Shaaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction, Dar es Salaam.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
