INVITATION FOR TENDERS
FOR
SUPPLY OF AN X-RAY FOR PANGANI DISTRICT HOSPITAL
TENDER No. AE/001/2021-22W/HQ/G/69
1. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) of 5th February, 2020, and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org).
2. The Government of Tanzania has received a Credit from the African Development Bank (AfDB), to finance Upgrading of Pangani Tungamaa-Mkwaja-Mkange (120.$Km) Road Project, and intends to apply a part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Supply of an X-Ray for Pangani District Hospital, Tender No. AE/001/2021-22/HQ/G/69.
3. TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers to Supply an X-Ray for Pangani District Hospital, Tender No, AE/001/2021-22/HQ/G/69.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
3. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender Board, 24 Floor, 10 Shaaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction, Dar es Salaam from 8:00 hours to 16:30 hour’s local time, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on Public Holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document (s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderer upon submission of a written application to the address given in paragraph
5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TShs. 100,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One
Hundred Thousand Only) which has to be paid with reference to Government’s e-Payment Gateway System (GePG) Control Number to be issued by the Accounts Section at TANROADS Headquarters.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All tenders in one (1) original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender 2″ Floor, Room No. 44, 10 Shaaban Robest Road/Garden Avenue Junction, Dar es Salaam at or before 10:00 Hours local time on 25th August, 2022. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TANROADS Headquarters Conference Room, 2“Floor, 10 Shaaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction, Dar es Salaam.
9, Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
