ACHIEVE is a five-year, USAID-funded global cooperative agreement with the objective of attaining and sustaining HIV epidemic control among at-risk and hard to reach pregnant and breastfeeding (PDF/ women, infants, children, and youth, as well as mitigating the impact of HIV/ AIDS and prevent HIV transmission among these populations.

Objective of the Assignment

The main objective of this assignment is to procure and distribute business start-up kits to 491 caregivers of CLHIV aged 0-5yeam across councils of ACHIEVE Project implementation. Distribution will be to the respective LIPs off ices of the councils listed below. LIPS WEI then be responsible for the distribution of the kits to beneficiaries.

Vendors can apply to one or more lots listed below. Please note, that an application to more than one lot requires a separate and complete submission which should include the requirements listed below.

SCOPE OF WORK

The specific scope of work includes but not be limited to the following:

1.Submit sample kits to pacts procurement department when required.

2.Timely delivery of quality kit items as per list and specification provided by Pact.

3.Use the distribution list provided by Pact for effective delivery.

4.Do an inventory with the Pact Technical ES team to match the start-up kits procured with the specifications provided before the procurement process.

5.Submit to Pact a report on the distribution of the business start-up kits and signed delivery forms per council, highlighting the number of kits delivered by type.

All questions and requests for clarification should be directed to [email protected] with the subject line “Request for Clarification: for procurement and distribution of business start-up kits for caregivers of CLHIV” before COB 26th May 2022.

  1. Eligibility to be considered for the award, vendors must currently be legally operating in Tanzania, and the quotation must include all of the following information:
  2. Ability to meet or exceed the requirements/technical specifications.
  3.  Ability to deliver the items/services specified in Terms of reference no later than the date(s) required.
  4.  Legally registered in Tanzania.

  • Quality of items to be supplied (Shortlisted applicants) will be required to submit samples).

Submission Instructions

  • Payment terms 100% after delivery
  • Evidence of similar assignments, and at least two121names and addresses of clients served. Vendors who wish to answer this RFP should send their proposals in sealed envelopes to Pact Tanzania Head Office by 27th May 2022, 11:00 am.
  •  All sealed envelopes need to be marked as, “Tender for procurement of business start-up kits for caregivers of CLHIV”

Quotes most be in Tanzania shillings and include taxes separately:
