SUPPLY OF HERBICIDES USING FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT
Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily Newspaper dated 12th July 2019 and through Tanzania procurement Journal Issue no. 29 dated Tuesday July, 16th,2019 .
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL) during the financial year 2019/2020 It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of Herbicides under framework agreement.
The Mkulazi Holding Company Limited now invites sealed tenders from only eligible authorized dealers and wholesale for Herbicides for sugarcane plantation as listed in the table below. Bidders are allowed to quote one lot or all lots but must quote all items in opted lot.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderes may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of The Secretary, MHCL Tender Board, Mkulazi Holding Company Limited, Mbigiri Estate, Dodoma Road, Dakawa-Morogoro, P.O.BOX 1079, Tel: +255 737 802 257, MOROGORO from 09:00am to 16:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings Fifty Thousand (TZS 50,000.00) only. Payment should either be by Cash and Banker’s Cheque deposit to “MKULAZI HOLDING CO, LTD, ACCOUNT NO. 001000213438-TSH, AZANIA BANK LTD, MASDO BRANCH DAR ES-SALAAM payable to CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED, P.O.BOX 1079-MOROGORO.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Document without any alterations.
All tenders in one original plus Three copies of the original document, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes and marked ” TENDER N0. PA/150/20192020/6/04-LOT 5 F OR SUPPLY OF HERBICIDES USING FRAMEWROK AGREEMENT”, and must be delivered to THE SECRETARY, MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED TENDER BOARD, MBIGIRI ESTATE, DODOMA ROAD, PMU OFFICE, “ROOM NO. 5, DAKAWA-MOROGORO, P.O.BOX 1079, MOROGORO at or before 14:30 HOURS on WEDNESDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2019.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED MWALIMU NYERERE MULTI PURPOSE BUILDING, BOARDROOM .
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not Opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
