Invitation for Pre-qualification
Tender No LGA/020/2018-2019/W/19
for
Construction of Nyerere Square Plaza
The City Council of Dodoma has set aside funds from its own source collections towards the cost of the Construction of Nyerere Square Plaza, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund to payments under the contract for Construction of Nyerere Square Plaza with Tender No. LGA/020/2018-2019/W/19.
The City Council of Dodoma intends to pre-qualify eligible and qualified Building contractors and/or firms capable of being registered Class One for Construction of Nyerere Square Plaza. It is expected that invitations to tender will be made in May, 2019.
Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in Regulation 119 of the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice 446 of 2013, and is open to all applicants as defined in the Regulations.
Interested applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the Secretary of the Council Tender Board, the City Council of Dodoma HQ, Former CDA Building, 1ST Floor Room No. 14,P. O. Box 1249, Dodoma from 07.30 to 15.30 Hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee1 of one hundred thousand shillings only or equivalent amount in freely convertible currency. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the City Council of Dodoma.
All applications one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address; The Secretary of Council Tender Board, The City Council of Dodoma HQ, Former CDA Building, P. O. Box 1249, DODOMA at or before 10.00 Hours on 21“ May, 2019.Applications will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of applicants’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the New City Council Conference Hall, the City Council of Dodoma, near former Dodoma Municipal Offices, Dodoma.
Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, applications not received, applications not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
