The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Newala District Council during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract fo e Construction of pumped piped scheme (Distribution) for Miyuyu &; Mnima village in Newala District council.
The Newala District Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National contractors registered in Class III and above for LOT N 03 and LOT No. 05 .But Class VI and above for LOT No. 04.

Construction of pumped piped scheme (Distribution ) for Miyuyu & Mnima village in Newala District.
Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive Tendering as specified in the Procurement Regulation , 2013 Government Notice No.446 and is open to all Tender defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the -_ 0f 3.19 Tender Board District Executive Director, NEWALA Dis L Council, P. 0. Box 16, NEWALA, Tanzania from 08.00 am to 03 W pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tender n the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 150,000/=. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s T5 aft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to DED-NEWALA.
All Tenders must be accompanied by specific tender sec for the particular project in an acceptable form in the amount of 10% total bid sum in local or foreign currencies.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly file in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address District Executive Director, NEWALA District Council, P. 0. BOX 16: NEWALA at or before 10: 00 Hrs on 26th/June 2019 Tenders Will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at m; Newala District Council Meeting hall.
Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tend not received, Tenders not received, Tenders not Opened a opening ceremony not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
