Invitation for Tenders

- The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation has set aside funds for the operation of the Network during the financial year 2018-2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the LOT 4: Designing, Supplying, Installing, Testing and Commissioning of Diesel Engine Generator Set 1000KVA complete with Automatic Changeover Switch, with Synchronization Facility, Associated Accessories and materials for Extelecoms Building.
- The Tanzania Telecommunication Corporation now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable of being registered in Class One for carrying out the Designing, Planning, Supplying, Installing, Commissioning and Testing and Commissioning of Diesel Engine Generator Set 1000KVA complete with Automatic Changeover Switch, with Synchronization Facility, Associated Accessories and materials for Extelecoms Building.
- Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
- Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board Extelecoms Building, 7th Floor, 32Samora Avenue, P. O. Box 9070, 11950Dar es Salaam. Tel: 255 22 2 14 2568/ 2590, e-mail [email protected] from08:00 hours to 16:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
- A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 150,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TTCLCorporation Headquarter Cashier at ground floor, Extelecoms House.
- All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of 1% of the total bid value or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers.
- All Tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Extelecoms Building, 7th Floor, 32Samora Avenue, P. O. Box 9070, 11950Dar es Salaam. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the 14:00 HRS local time on 17th April, 2019.
- Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
