INVITATION FOR TENDER

TENDER No. PA-134/2018-2019/HQ/W/01 FOR
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION OF MAIZE AND SUNFLOWER PLANTS ON PLOT NO. 63 AT KIZOTA COMPLEX DODOMA

Date: 4th April, 2019

1. This Invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice which appeared both in the Daily News ISSN 0856-3812 dated 19^th September, 2018 and PPRA Tender Portal on 20^th September 2018.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Cereals and other Produce Board of Tanzania (CPB) during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment for Electrical Installation of Maize and Sunflower Plants on Plot no.63 at Kizota Complex Dodoma. The Cereals and Other Produce Board now invites sealed tenders from eligible local contractors for Electrical Installation of Maize and Sunflower Plants at Kizota Complex Dodoma as follows:

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering proceduresspecified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government  Notice No. 446 and its amendments, 2016 – Government Notice No.333 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Tenderer may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary to Tender Board,  Cereals and Other Produce Board, Central Business Park, Mbugani Area, Plot No.24, VETA Road, P.O. Box 337 Dodoma, from 07:30 am to 03:30 pm on Monday to Friday inclusive except on Public Holidays.

5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000/= (Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). Payments should be by Bank Deposit or Bank Transfers to the account number 20101000087; named Cereals and Other Produce Board, NMB Bank House (Cheques are not acceptable). The bidders shall bring their bank deposit slip to CPB accounts department for issuing of receipts.

6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in an acceptable form provided in the bidding document.

7. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the following address:Secretary to Tender Board,  Cereals and Other Produce Board, Central Business Park, Mbugani Area, Plot No.24, VETA Road, P.O. Box 337 Dodoma. The outer envelope must clearly be marked “TENDER No. PA-134/2018-2019/HQ/W/01 FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION OF MAIZE AND SUNFLOWER PLANTS ON PLOT NO. 63 AT KIZOTA COMPLEX DODOMA NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 1430 HOURS LOCAL TIME on Wednesday 17^th April, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the conference room of Cereals and Other Produce Board of Tanzania.

8. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
