Invitation for Quotations
This Invitation for Quotation (IFQ) follows the General Procurement Notice for the Electrical Transmission and Distribution Construction and Maintenance Company Limited for the 2018/19 financial year that l appeared in the Procurement Journal of 3rd August, 2018.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Electrical Transmission and 1 Distribution Construction and Maintenance Company Limited during the financial year 2018 19. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for which this invitation for quotation is issued.
You are hereby invited to submit your price quotation for supplying the goods as described in under mentioned Request for Quotations.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of The Secretary, ETDCO Tender Board located at House No. 21, Mwai Kibaki Road, PO. Box 31532, Dar es Salaam. Telephone (255) 687 104 353 from 09:00hrs to 16.30hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except 9n public holidays.
All Tenders must be accompanied with a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the ‘ Tendering Documents.
All quotations in one original plus three copies, properly tilled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked Quotation No. (INSERT THE RESPECTIVE QUOTATION NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION) (Do not Open before 10.30 hours on 23rd May, 2019) must be delivered to the SECRETARY -ETDCO TENDER BOARD, PO. BOX 31532, DAR ES SALAAM to reach her at ETDCO off1ces located at Block ll, House No. 21, Mwai Kibaki Road not later than 23rd May, 2019 at 10.30 hours local time.
The successful bidder will be required to submit a performance guarantee equivalent to 10% of the contract price in the form of bank guarantee from reputable bank.
Deadline for submission will be on 23rd May, 2019 at 10.30 hours local time. Quotations Will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the ETDCO conference room Block Ill located at House No. 21 Mwai Kibaki Road.
Late quotations, portion of quotations, electronic quotations, quotations not received, quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
