INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STREET LIGHT FOR URBAN ROADS IN MOSHI MUNICIPALITY
Invitation for Tenders
The Moshi Municipal Council has set aside fund for installation of Solar Powered Street lights for urban roads in Moshi Municipality. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Installation of Solar Street Light for Urban Roads in Moshi Municipality.
The Moshi Municipal Council now invites sealed Tender from eligible National Contractors registered or capable of being registered as Electrical Contractors in class three (Ill) and above or Electrical Specialists Class (II) and above for carrying out the specified works.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive tendering procedures Specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446 and is open to all Tenderers as defmed in the Regulations unless Otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding Documents at the Office of the Secretary of the Tender Board Moshi Municipal Council, Room No. 35, PO. Box 318, Moshi from 7.30 am. to 3.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tender Document(s) in English language and additional sets maybe purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TShs 100,000/=. Payment should be by Cash or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Moshi Municipal Council.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security Declaration. The bid security shall be clearly addressed to: Moshi Municipal Council, R0. Box, 318 Moshi, Tanzania.
All Tenders in one original plus three copies-required, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address of the office of The Secretary, Municipal Tender Board, Florida Road, Moshi at or before 10:00 am. local time on Wednesday, 26th June, 2019. The outer envelope shall be clearly marked ”Bid NO LGA-045I2018-2019/HQ/W/19 LOT 3 For INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STREET LIGHT FOR URBAN ROADS IN MOSHI MUNICIPALITY” NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:00 AM LOCAL TIME ON Wednesday, 26th June, 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Municipal Hall, Florida Road, -Moshi.
Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not Opened at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
