PROVISION OF INSURANCE SERVICES FOR AMREF HEALTH AFRICA TANZANIA
INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS
1.Amref health Africa Tanzania has set aside funds for the procurement of various good, works and services to support its day to day operations and project activities. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Provision of Insurance Services for various categories.
2. Tendering will be conducted through Open Competitive bidding to Qualified and registered Insurance Brokers operating in Tanzania, and under the procedures specified in Amref Procurement Manual of Ist November, 2016.
3. The scope of Insurance cover (services) involves the following:

| 1 | Property Fire: Assets all Risks on Buildings including but not limited to the furniture, fixtures, fittings, contents, plant & machinery, electronic equipment (include portable and those kept in the office). |
| 2 | Employers liability to all staff |
| 3 | fire and allied perils cover for office buildings and residence |
| 4 | Group Personal accident on employees death & permanent total disability |
| 5 | Business all risks |
| 6 | Burglary insurance |
4. A complete set of the Quotation document(s) in English and additional sets are issued upon written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Tsh.l00, 000.00 (Tanzania shillings: One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment should either be by Cash, Bankers Draft or bankers Cheque, payable to our Account name: Amref Health Africa Tanzania, Account number: 011103000446 Bank Name-National Bank of Commerce (NBC).
5. All quotations in one original plus a copy (hard & soft), properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Quotation No. Amref/2019/DSM/NC/08 for Provision of Insurance services for Amref Health Africa Tanzania”. must be delivered to the Secretary, Amref Health Africa Tanzania Tender Committee, AIi Hassan Mwinyi Road. and Box 2773, Dar es Salaam.
5. Deadline for submission will be on Wednesday 16th October, 2019 at l2.00 hrs local time. Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend .in the opening at the Amref Health Africa Tanzania conference room.
6. Late, partial and electronic quotations. and quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
