Invitation for Tender
1.The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) has set aside funds for its operations during financial year 2018/ 19 and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation is issued.
2. TANESCO now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for Supply of Spare Relays Lot 1:

Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering (NCT) Procedures as specified in the Public Procurement Regulations 152-(1) (b) of PPR, G.N 446 of 2013 under PPA No.7 of 2011 read together with Public Procurement (Amendment) Regulations G.N. No. 333 of 2016 under PPA (Amendment) No.5 of 2016.
4. A Tender must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration 1n the format provided 111 the Tendering document.

All tenders in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked ”TENDER No. PA/001/2018-19/HQ/G/45 FOR SUPPLY OF SPARE RELAYS LOT 1 (NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:30 Hrs on Friday, 25th October, 2019) must be delivered on or before 25th October, 2019 to the address Secretary Tender Board, Ground floor, Tender Room, Room No. GO4, Umeme Park Building Ubungo, Morogoro Road, PO. Box 9024 Dar es Salaam. Telephone + 255 222 210 267. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives Who choose to attend in the tenders opening ceremony.
6. A Complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph four (5) above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100, 000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand only) VAT Inclusive through National Microfinance Bank (NMB) upon receipt of reference number from TANESCO.
7. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
