FOR PROVISION OF MAINTENANCE SERVICES AND SUPPLY OF RELATED SPARE PARTS FOR LIFTS AT THE BANK OF TANZANIA

This invitation of bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this procurement that appeared in the Tanzania National e-Procurement System (TANePS) on 23RD July, 2019.
The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for its operations during-the Financial Year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Provision of Maintenance Services and Supply of Related Spare Parts for Lifts at Head Office and Branches.
The Bank of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from eligible Service Providers for the Provision of Provision of Maintenance Services and Supply of Related Spare Pans for Lifts at Head Office and Branches for a period of Three (3) cars as follows;

Bidders may choose to quote for any or all lots but in all case bidder must quote for all items in each respective lot.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary, Bank of Tanzania Tender Board, 2 Mirambo Street, 2″d Floor, South Tower, 11884 Dar es Salaam from 08:30 hours to 16:30 hours on Monday to Friday except on Saturday, Sundays and public holidays.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid Securing declaration in the format provided in the bidding documents.
A complete set of bidding documents in English and additional set may be purchased by
interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Tender Application Fee, Account Number 9944712601) or Banker’s Cheques payable to Bank of Tanzania.
All bids in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Tender for Provision of Maintenance Services and Supply of Related Spare Parts for Lifts at Head Office and Branches” must be delivered to the Secretary, Bank of Tanzania Tender Board, 2 Mirambo Street, 2nd Floor, South Tower, 11884 Dar es Salaam at or before 11:00 hours on Tuesday, 3 December ,2019.
Bids will be opened promptly thereafter at the Bunk of Tanzania, Currency Museum Hall Ground Floor, South Tower, 2 mirambo Street,ll884 Dar es Salaam in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
Late Bids. Portion of Bids. Electronic Bids, Bids not received. Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
