1. The invitation of this bid follows the general procurement Notice for this project that appeared in United Nation Development Business online (UNDB Online) No. AfDB88-02/16 OF 2RD February 2016 and on the African Development Bank Internet website www.afdb.org on 3rd February 2016
2. The government of the Republic of Tanzania has received loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the coast of Transport sector support program. It is intend that part of the proceed of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract document management system
3. Tanzania national roads agency now invites sealed bids form eligible bidders for provision of scanning services indexing and uploading into electronic document management system
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the biding document at the office secretary, TANROADS Headquarter Tender Board 2nd Floor 10 shabaan Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 8:00 Hours local time Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays
5. A complete of bidding document may be purchased interested bidders on submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 200,000.00 or in a freely convertible currency which has to be paid with reference government e-Payment Gateway System – Control Number to be issued by the accounts section TANROADS Headquarter
Bidders can collect the bidding document between 8:00 am to 16:30 hours local time from Monday to Friday inclusive except on Public holidays at the purchaser head office in Dar es Salaam Tanzania Documents will not be dispatched by courier services
6. Bidding will be conducted though the international competitive bidding procedures and the provision in the instructions to bidders and in the general conditions of contracts are the provision of the Africa Development Bank standard and bidding document for procurement of goods issued on September 2010 and revised on February 2018
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below or before 10;00 hours local time on 18th March 2020 and must be accompanied bid a bid security in original and in acceptable form in the amount of TZS 100,000,000.00 or its equivalent in freely convertible currency. The bid security shall be clearly address to The Chief Executive TANROADS, P.O. Box 11364, DAR ES SALAM. The bid must be submitted or sent by registered post clearly addressed to the Secretary TANROADS Headquarters’ Tender Board, 2nd Floor 10 Shaaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction P.O box 11364 Dar es Salaam TANZANIA

7. Bids shall remain valid for a period of one hundred and twenty calendar days after the deadline for bids submission as prescribed on paragraph 7 above
8. A pre-bid meeting will be arranged on 28th February 2020 at 10:00 hours local time at TANRODS Headquarter, 10 Shabn Rober Road/Garden Avenue Junction 2nd Floor Conference Room Dar es Salaam
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at 10;00 local time on March 18th 2020 at TANROADS CONFERENCE ROOM, 2nd Floor TANROADS Headquarters’, 10 Shaban Robert Road/Garden Avenue Junction Dar es Salaam Tanzania
