1. This invitation for tender follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which appeared in PPR Tender Portal, Tanzania Procurement Journal issue No. ISSN 1821-6021 VOL XXII NO 32 Dated Tuesday 6th August 2019
2. The Government of Tanzania has a set aside fund for the operation of the Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority during the financial year 1029/2020 it is intend that part of the process of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply one surface pump and three submersible pumps
3. The DUWASA now invites sealed tender form eligible National Suppliers of Pumps. (supply one surface pump (No Installation) and three submersible pumps)
4. Tendering will be conducted though the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the public procurement regulation, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all tenders as defined in the regulations
5. Interested tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the office of the DUWASA Tender Board Secretary, Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority – BOX 431 Dodoma, Email [email protected] along Mkapa Road Plot No 9, Block B room No 26 form 8:00 am to 4:30 Pm working hours on Monday to Friday inclusive except Public holidays
6. A complete of set of tendering documents in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenders on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00

The bidders who purchased the tender document for tender No. AE/034/HQ/2019-2020/G/12 for supply one of surface pump and four submersible pumps advertised and opened on 11 November 2019 will get the tender document for free.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by attender securing declaration in the format provided in the tendering document
8. All tenders in one original plus three copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Tender Board DUWASA, along Mkapa Road Block B, Plot no 9 Box 431 Dodoma, Room No. 26 Before 10:00 Am on February 2020
9. Late tenders portion of tenders electronic tenders tender not received, tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance’s
