INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR
PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES
TENDER NO. PA/082/2019-2020/AR/NC/86
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared on the authority website July 2019
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the proposed provision of security services at the Bank of Tanzania Residential, Staff Club and BOT Clinic Premises.
3. The Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch is now inviting sealed Tenders from eligible service providers registered by all relevant authorities.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Method procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and ON 333) and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Bank of Tanzania Delegated Tender Board, 1st Floor, Old Wing, Makongoro Road Plot No. 9 Block 2, PO. Box 3043 Arusha Telephone/Fax: 027 254 7091/ 0222 232 225, from 08:30 hours to 12:30 hours and from 14:30 hours to 16:30 hours on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS. 100,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash Deposit or Electronic Payment Transfer, (Account Number: 9944 719 902) Tender Application Fee.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked Tender number and must be submitted to the address in paragraph No. 5 above on or before Thursday 29 August 2019 at 1500 hours.
9. The deadline for submission of the bids is on Thursday 29th August 2019 at 1500 hours. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders‘ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch Offices, Second floor Board Room No. 53.
10. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
