REHABILITATION AND EXTENSION OF WATER SUPPLY SCHEME NYABIBUYE VILLAGE AND IMPROVING WATER SUPPLY SCHEME KAKONKO TOWNSHIP FOR PHASE I IN KAKONKO DISTRICT COUNCIL.
INVITATION FOR TENDERS
The government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Kakonko District Council during the financial year 2018/2019. It ix. intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Nyabibuye and Kakonko Urban Water Projects.
The Kakonko District Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National Contractors Registered or capable 0‘ being registered in Class five and above for carrying out the Constructions of water projects a! Nyabibuye and Class seven and above for Kakonko Urban Water Project.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering specified in the Public Procurement Regulatims, Government Notice N0446 of 2013 and 25 Open to all Tenderers as defined m the Regulation unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information {mm and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Kakonko District Council of P.O.BOX 3, KAKONKOfmmOSiXXam3:50pm of working hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tandems on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tzs; 200,000. Two hundreds thousands only. Payment Should be by Banker’s Cheque, payable to District Treasurer contact +55769479883 to get control number for payments.
Tender must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration for Kakonko Urban Water Project in the. format provided in the Tender documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet and Original Tender Security in an acceptable. form of Bank Guarantee from a reputable firm in an amount equivalent to 2% of the Tender Price in the format provided in the bidding document for Nyabibuye-Water Project.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in. and enclosed in plain envelops must be delivered to the.address Secretary of the Tender Board, Kakoztko District Councilxmd P.O.BOX 3 KAKONKO at or before day 28 June 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly utereafter in public and in the presence of ii’wderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Kakonko District Conrail Headquarter located at Kanyafisi area.
The site visit: will be held on 21th June, 2019 at or before 09: 00am at Kakonko Ur ban and Nyabibuye water projects under bidder”s costs
Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted fur evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
