SUPERVISION CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR UPGRADING OF ROADS (1.0 KM), SALMINI ROAD 0.6K” AND KARUME ROAD JCT SEMALI SINGIDA ROA ,0.4 KM TO BITUMEN STANDARD AT SINGIDA MUNICIPALITY
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Date: 25 April, 2019
This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in procurement journal and PPRA Website (Tender portal)
The Government of United Republic of Tanzania in Collaboration of Word Bank through Urban Local Government Strengthening Programs (ULGSP) has set aside funds for the execution of Development projects in Singida Municipal Council. The Singida Municipal Council intends to apply for Grant from the World Bank towards the Cost for Provision of Supervision Consultancy services for Upgrading of Roads (1.0 Km) , Salmini Road 0.6km and Karume Road Jct Semali Singida Road 0.4km to Bitumen Standard at Singida Municipality.
The scope of the assignment includes but not limited to:.
a) Review the entire project road design in view of identifying areas(if any) that needs Client’s attention and advice
b) Supervision of the works Contract to ensure that the works comply with the approved design drawings, Specification, Condition of Contract and sound engineering practice
c) Approval of Contractor’s working drawings
d) Preparation of Final Construction report and as built drawings of all A completed works
e) Preparation of the project completion report and
f) Supervision of maintenance activities during the defects liability period
The Singida Municipal Council now invites eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing the above mentioned services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting Consultant’s profile description of similar assignment( at least 5 projects), experience in similar conditions (at least 3 projects), availability of appropriate skills among staff ,such as Resident/Highway Engineer Senior category, Topographical Surveyor, Material Engineer Senior category and Structural Engineer. Consultant may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Public procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and Its Regulation 2013 and amendments of 2016. Selection will be conducted through the ” Quality and cost Based Selection” procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulation.
Interested Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 0730-15 30 hours local time Mondays to Friday inclusive, except on public Holidays
Expression of Interest in Writing must be delivered to the address, The Secretary of the Tender Board. Singida Municipal Council, Room No. 12, . P. O. Box 236 SINGIDA at or before. Friday 10th May, 2019 at 10:00 am .Clearly Marked EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR UPGRADING OF ROADS (1.0 KM), SALMINI ROAD 0.6KM AND KARUME ROAD JCT SEMALI SINGIDA ROAD 0.4KM TO BITUMEN STANDARD .Expression of Interest will be Opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Consultant’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Singida Municipal Council’s Conference Hall.
Late Expression of interest, portion of Expression of Interest, electronic Expression of Interest, and Expression of Interest not received, Expression of Interest not opened at the opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
