SUPPLY OF ELECTION MATERIALS FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION IN TANZANIA MAINLAND

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal Issue no. ISSN: 1821-6021 Vol. XI No. 31 dated 31st July 2018 and on PPRA Tender Portal.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Supply of Election Materials for Local Government Election in Mainland Tanzania.
The Permanent Secretary, President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PO RALG) now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers to Supply the following items and materials as tabulated here below:

Tenderers may quote for one, two or all three lots. Tenderers not quoting for all items and quantities in the lot will be considered nonresponsive and rejected for evaluation irrespective of any circumstances.
Tendering will be conducted through the international Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the once of the Secretary of Ministerial Tender Board, President Office. Regional Administration and Local Government (PO RALG). PO. Box 1923. Ground Floor. Room No. 02. Procurement Management Unit (PMU). Mkapa House. Dodoma from 09:00 to 15:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) In English may be purchased by interested Tenderers upon the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 150,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash. Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Permanent Secretary. Presudent’s office Regional Administration and Local Government.
All tenders must be accompanied by Tender Securities clearly addressed to the Permanent Secretary. President’s Office-Regional Administration and Local Government in freely convertible currency or an equivalent amount Stated below:
TZS 15,000,000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings Fifteen Million Only) for Lot 1: Supply of Ballot Box Seals.
TZS 50,000,000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings Fifty Million Only) for Lot ll: Supply of indelible Ink.
All tenders in one original plus two copies properly tilled in. and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the following address; Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board. President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government. 8th Avenue I Hospital Road. Mkapa Building. Ground Floor. Room No. 02. P.O. Box 1923, Dodoma. Tanzania on or before Thursday. August 22th , 2019 at 10:00 am. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government Contemnee Hall. Minna Building. Ground Floor, Dodoma. Tanzania.
Late Tenders. Portion of Tenders. Electronic Tenders. Tenders not reamed. Tendon not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
