Supply, Installation And Commissioning Of Tools And Equipment For Namtumbo Dvtc.
Invitation for Tenders
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily Newspaper Issue No.00000149-035 dated 7th August, 2018.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Vocational Education and Training Authority during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Tools and Equipment for Namtumbo DVTC.
3. The Vocational Education and Training Authority now invites sealed tenders from eligible Local Suppliers for carrying out the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Tools and Equipment for Namtumbo DVTC Lot No,1&2.Bidder are allowed to participate in a single or both Lots. Each Lot should be submitted separately,
(1) Lot No.1: for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Tools and Equipment for Electrical Workshop.
(ii) Lot No.2: for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Tools and Equipment for Design, Sewing and Cloth Technology Workshop.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board VETA Tender Board P.0. Box 2849, Chang’ombe Road, Dar es Salaam, from 07:30 hours to 15:30 hour’s local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays,
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS,100,000.00. Payment should be through Government electronic Payment Gateway (GePG) upon obtaining the control number from VETA Head (Finance Department).
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All tenders in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary VETA Tender Board P.O Box 2849, Chang’ombe Road, Dar es Salaam, Room no.7 at or before 14:00 hours on 14th June, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the VETA Head Office, Morgan Manyanga Conference Hall.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
