Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News Issue No. 12,304 dated 12th December, 2018.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited (GASCO) during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Electronic Spare Parts Gas Pipeline.
The (GASCO) now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Electronic Spare Parts Gas Pipeline as follows:
Bidders may bid for a single lot or multiple lots/sub-lots. However, in either case bidder must quote for all items in a sub-lot. More details of items required are indicated in the Schedule of Requirement in section VI of tender document.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office, of the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar es salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the first floor from 09:00 and 15:00 hours from Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000 (Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand only). Payment should be made through NMB Bank, Account Name: Gas Company (T) Limited Main Account, Account Number: 22310029011 payable to Gas Company (T) Limited.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked ”SUPPLY OF ELECTRONIC SPARE PARTS GAS PIPELINE, NOT TO BE OPPENED BEFORE MONDAY 1ST JULY, 2019 11:00HRS” must be delivered to the address Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar es salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the first floor at or before 1 1:00hours, Monday 1st July, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers‘ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Kinyerezi Board Room at 1st floor.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
