PROPOSED UPGRADING OFKIVULINI/ RASHID ROAD (0.890KM) TO ASPHALT CONCRETE LEVEL IN KINONDONI MUNICIPALITY
(TENDER No. AE/092/ 2018-19/DSM/W/ 100)
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the infrastructure development in Kinondoni Municipality and intends to apply a portion of these funds to cover eligible payment for the Proposed upgrading of Kivulini/Rashid road (0.890km) to Asphalt Concrete level in Kinondoni Municipality.
The Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) an Agency of the Ministry of Regional Administration and Local government hereinafter referred to as the Employer now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Local Contractors registered by the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Civil Contractors Class III and above for the proposed Upgrading of Kivulini (Rashid) Road (0.89km) to Asphalt Concrete Standard in Kinondoni Municipality-Tender no. AE/092/2018-19/DSM/W/100.
The works consists of Upgrading (0. 89km) to Asphalt Concrete standard and construction of major storm Water Drainage.
The estimated quantities for major works items are:

Bidding is being conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB_) as specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations 2013 and its amendments, 2016.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Document at the office of the Secretary of Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board, Samora Avenue Extelecom Tower (TI’CL Building), 2“‘1 Floor, P.0. Box 9253, Dar es Salaam, from 08.30 to 16.30hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on Public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Fifty Thousand, only (TZS. 150,000.00). Payment should either be by Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TARURA TEMEKE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, NMB TEMEKE BANK BRANCH A/C NO. 20710029681.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
All Tenders in One original plus three (3) copies, duly marked “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board, Samora Avenue, Extelecom Tower (TTCL Building), 2″“ Floor, P.O. Box 9253, Dar es Salaam at or before 11:00hours on Monday, 24’“ June, 2019. Marked Tender no. AE/092/2018-19/DSM/W/ 100 for Upgrading of Kivulini (Rashid) Road (0.89km) to Asphalt Concrete Standard in Kinondoni Municipality, Tenders will be opened at 11:15 hours on Monday, 24‘“ June, 2019 in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Regional Coordinator TARURA, Samora Avenue Extelecom Tower (TTCL Building), 2″‘1 Floor, P.O. Box 9253, Dar es Salaam.
Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender Opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
