INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY OF FARM EQUIPMENT (DUMP TRUCK, HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR AND TRACTORS)
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily Newspaper dated Thursday 28th February 2019 and Tanzania Procurement Journal (TPJ) Issue No.Vol XII-No. 10. Dated Tuesday March 5th 2019
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL ) dating the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of farm Equipment (Dump Truck. Hydraulic Excavator and Tractors) at Mbigiri Estate, Dikawa-Morogoro region. Tanzania
3. The Mkulazi Holding Company Limited now Invites sealed tenders from the only eligible manufacturer or authorized Dealers for Supply of Farm equipment for the following tenders below: Bidder may opt to bid all tenders and all lots. The award of contract will be on tender and lot basis.

4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations
5. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of The Secretary. MHCL Tender Board, Mkulazi Holding Company Limited, Mbigiri Estate. Dodoma Road. Dakawa- Morogoro. P.O.BOX 1079, MOROGORO-TANZANIA from 09:00am to 16:00 hours cc Mondays to Fridays inclusive and on Saturday 09:00am to 12:00noon except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand (TZS 100,000.00) only Payment should either be by Cash and Banker’s Cheque deposit to “MKULAZI HOLDING CO. 7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Document without any alterations
8. All tenders In one original plus Three copies of the original document, properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes and marked “TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF FARM EQUIPMENT” TENDER NUMBER AND LOT NUMBER must be delivered to THE SECRETARY, MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED TENDER BOARD, MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY- LIMITED, MBIGIRI ESTATE. DODOMA ROAD. MWALIMU NYERERE MULTI PURPOSE BUILDING, PMU- OFFICE, ROOM NO. 5, DAKAWA-MOROGORO-TANZANIA, P.0 B0X 1079. MOROGORO at a before 14:30 on TUESDAY 11TH JUNE 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED MWALIMU NYERERE MULTI PURPOSE BUILDING, BOARD ROOM
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tender not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
