No. AE/033/2019-2020/G/18-XIII LOT 1, &2.
For Supply of G5 Fittings, PVC Fittings and Gs Pipes
1.This invitation for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the PPRA Tender Portal, DAWASA website, Daily News on 31″ May 2019.
2. Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority has set aside funds for the acquisition of mentioned items below during the financial year 2019/ 2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the procurement of Gs Fittings, PVC Fittings and Gs Pipes.
3. The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers of the following goods:

4. Bidders are required to bid for a single lot, bidders quoting more than one lot will be considered as non-responsive. Also in any case, bidders must quote for full quantity in a lot, bidders not quoting for full quantity in a lot will be considered as non-responsive. 4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga / Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala HOSpital P.0 BOX 1573 Dar es Salaam from 0800 to 1600 hrs, on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be obtained by interested and eligible Bidder from the office of The Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 200,000.00 from 0800 to 1600 hrs local time on Monday to Friday except on public holidays. Interested Tenderers shall obtain control number at DAWASA office Sokoine Drive (Gerezani) nearby Water front Building.
7. Payment should be made to ANY BRANCH OF CRDB BANK A/C N0. 01J1021921900, a copy of Pay in Slip should be submitted to the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga / Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam.
8. All bids in one original plus one copy properly sealed in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below clearly marked Supply of Gs fItting, Pvc Fittings, and Gs Pipes Bid Number AE/033/2019-2020/G/18-XIII at DAWASA building at or before 11:00 hrs on Monday 18th November 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and In the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at the DAWASA BoardroompAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam.
9. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
