SUPPLY OF GS FITTINGS AND PVC FITTINGS.
Invitation for Tenders
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Ministry of Water has set aside funds for the operation of the Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority (DAWASA) during the financial year 2019-2020. It is intended that, part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Supply of GS Fittings and PVC Fittings for Repair and Maintenance works.
2.The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority (DAWASA) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Suppliers for Supply of GS Fittings and PVC Fittings for Repair and Maintenance works as follows:

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding specified in the Procurement Regulations Amendment 2016 – Government Notice No.446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents at the office of the Secretary DAWASA Tender Board located at DAWASA Offices Mwananyamala opposite the Mwananyamala Hospital, P.O. Box 1573 Dares Salaam from 8.00am to 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given in Number 4 above upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian shillings Two Hundred Thousand (Tshs. 200,000/=) only. Payment should be done by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, or telegraphic transfer to Chief Executive Officer, Account Name: DAWASA, Account Number 01J1021921900 CRDB Bank Plc, Tower Branch, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, SWIFT code CORUTZTZ. The document will be delivered upon payment or by request through courier on bidder’s account, Interested Tenderers shall obtain control number at DAWASA Office Sokoine Drive (Gerezani) near Waterfront Building,
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security of Tanzanian Shillings Twelve Million (Tshs. 12,000,000) only
6. All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in and Sealed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary DAWASA Tender Board, Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority (DAWASA), Dunga/ Malanga street (Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital) room number 23, DSSD building at or before 11.00am East Africa hours on Friday 02nd August, 2019, Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the DAWASA Boardroom.
7. Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
