1. The Dar es salaam Institute of Technology through the Government of Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for supply of ICT Teaching Equipment for Regional Flagship ICT Centre (RAFI)
2. The Dar es salaam Institute of Technology now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply of ICT Teaching equipment for Regional Flagship ICT Centre (RAFIC). at Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology, Junction Bibi Titi Mohamed street Morogoro road, delivery period 45 days.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” 1st July, 2016 and revised November, 2017 “Procurement Regulations and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Dar es Salaam institute of Technology. Secretary Tender board in PMU office, e-mail [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 0730 m9 1530 hours Monday to Friday except on public holidays.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of anon refundable fee of USD 50 of its equivalent in Tanzania Shillings. The method of payment will be done through Government electronic Payment Gateway (GePG) using control number, whereby the bidder should request control number from Secretary Tender board. The document will be sent by Email after the client is satisfied that payment has been made for the document by the supplier
6. Bids must be delivered to the address Secretary of tender board, Dar es salaam Institute of Technology, Junction of Bibi Titi Mohamed street Morgoro road. P.O Box 2958 Dar es salam, Tanzania at the PMU office on or before 18th October,2021 at 10.00hour local time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids shall be submitted one original and three copies, Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address DIT ASA LOUNGE at 10.00hour local time on 18th October, 2021.
