Invitation for Tenders
This invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the UN Development Business online Issue No. 948 dated 16th September 2016 and the AfDB website.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Ministry of Finance and Planning has received a loan from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of Institutional Support Project for Good Governance phase three (ISPGG Ill) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Supply of Scientific Equipment for Internal Auditor General.
The Government Procurement Services Agency on behalf of Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) an implementing agent now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Scientific Equipment for Internal Auditor General as indicated in the table below:

Tendering will he conducted through the National Competitive tendering a procedure specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013Government notice No. 446 as amended In 201 6, and Is open to all Tenderers as defined In the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Government Procurement Services Agency‘ Tender Board, Keko Mwanga, Nyerere Road/Bohari Street, and P. O. Box 91 50, Dar es Salaam from 07:30 am to 03:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased from GPSA by interested Tenderers upon submission of a written application letter to the address given under paragraph-S above and upon payment of a non=refundable fee of [Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand only (Tshs. 50,000.00”. Payment should be made directly to the GPSA Revenue A/C DSM Region through the following Bank Accounts; NMB Bank, Bank House Branch 201 10036195. Banking particulars (Banking Pay in Slips) should be submitted to the GPSA for acknowledgment of payment.
All tenders must be accompanied with a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided’ In the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Government Procurement Services Agency Tender Board, P.O.BOX 9150, Keko Mwanga Nyerere Road, Bohari Street, Dar es Salaam, room number 1 1, GPSA Building shall be clearly marked “TENDER No. AE/018/2018-1 9/HQ/G/30 FOR SUPPLY OF SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT FOR INTERNAL AUDIT GENERAL” at or before 02:00 hours Local Time on Tuesday, 27th May, 2019. The tender will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room of the Government Procurement Services Agency, Keko Mwanga Nyerere Road, Bohari Street, Dar Es Salaam.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
