Invitation for Tenders Date: 25.11.2019
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared In Zanzibar Leo and Daily News Issue no. 1/2019 dated 21.01 2019
The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited has set aside funds during the financial year 2019. It is intended that part of that proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Tender No: SMZ/PBZ/AM/V/201 9/G/16 for Supply of Software.
The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Suppliers for Supply of Software.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act no. 11 of 201 6, section 66 (1) and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office. of the Secretary of Tender Board, PDMU Office Mpirani, Second Floor from 0930 1530hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of “a non-refundable fee of TZS 200,000. 00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’ 5 Draft, or Banker’ s Cheque, payable. to the Bank account, Tender Commitment Fees, account number 2010179510.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents.
All Tenders in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Tender Board, PDMfi Oflice Mpirani, Second Floor at or before 1400hours on Tuesday 24th December, 2019. Tenders will be opened at 14:30 hours in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room, Islamic Bank Head Office Mpiranl. inside Zanzibar Insurance Head Quarter Building. \ Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders’, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
