SUPPLY OF TIMBER FOR PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF APARTMENTS AT MAGOMENI QUARTERS-DAR ES SALAAM AND OTHER TBA PROJECTS
INVITATION FOR TENDERS
1.The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the [Tanzania Buildings Agency] during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Timber for Proposed Construction apartments at Magomeni Quarters-Dar es salaam.
2. The Tanzania Buildings Agency now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Timber
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenders as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the once of the The Secretary, Tanzania Buildings Agency Tender Board, P.O. Box 9542, Dar es salaam along Sokoine drive No.2 Opposite Karimjee Hall from 8.00 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 50,000/=. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to The Chief Executive, through CRDB Bank Account No. 0111027841900,‘Account name: Tanzania Buildings Revenue after obtaining a control number from TBA account section.
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided In the Tendering Documents.
7. All tenders in one original plus two copies, property filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address “a Secretary, Tanzania Buildings Agency Tender Board, P.0. Box 9542, Dar es salaam along Sokoine drive No.2 Opposite Karimjee Hall, at or before 14:00 local hours, on 6thNovember, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly there after in public and m the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Tanzania Buildings Agency Headquarters Conference room, second “Floor, opposite Karimjee Hall. The outer envelope must be clearly marked.

9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
