- The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology through the government of Tanzania has receive a financing from the world bank toward the cost of the east Africa skills for transformation and regulatory integration project(EASTRIP) and intends to apply part of the proceed towards payment under the contract for supply motor vehicle and forklift for centre of excellence in leather processing and allied technology for this contract, the borrowed shall process the payment using the open account or letter of credit except for those payment which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit
- The DIT now invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for supply of motor vehicle and forklift for centre of excellence in leather processing and allied technology at DIT Mwanza cumpus Airport Makokongoro road pasiansi area – Mwanza for deliver period of 120 days
- Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a request for bids as specified in the world bank procurement regulation for IFB Borrowers 1st July 2016 and revised November 2017 procurement regulations and is open to all

Eligible bidders as defined in the procurement regulation and is the following lots
5. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Dar es Salaam Institute of technology from PMU email [email protected], [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 7:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday except on public holidays at the address given below
6. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of written application letter the principal Dar es Salaam Institute of technology P.O. BOX 2958 DSM – Tanzania and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 50 or its equivalent in TZS. The method of payment will be done through government electronic payment gateway using control number whereby the bidders should request control number from accounting office
7. Bids must be delivered to the Secretary of tender board Dar es Salaam Institute of technology, Junction of Bibi titi Mohamed street/ Morogoro Road P.O. BOX 2958 DSM – Tanzania at the PMU OFFICE before 9th April 2020 local time, electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will rejected, bids shall be submitted on original and 3 copies, bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at he address below DIT ASSA TLOUNGE at 10: 00 local time
8. All bids must be accompanied by bid security per lots indicating in paragraph 3 above
9. Attention is drawn to the procurement regulation to the borrower to disclose information on the successful bidders beneficial ownership as part of the contract award notice using the beneficial ownership disclosure form as includes in the bidding document
