INVITATION FOR TENDERS
The Tabora Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (TUWASA) has set aside funds for the operations of the Authority for the Financial Year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the Framework Agreement for which this Invitation for Tenders is issued.
The Tabora Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National Suppliers to supply the items in the following Tenders;

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No 7 of 2011 (Amendment Act of 2016) and its regulation of 2013 (Ammendment Regulation of 2016) and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderes may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary of the TUWASA Tender Board, Tabora Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority P.0.Box 147, Tabora from 09:00am to 03:00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000/=. Payment should be by Cash or Cheque payable to Managing Director, Tabora Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (TUWASA), P.O.Box 147, Tabora.
A Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents must accompany all tenders.
All tenders in One original plus Two copies specific for each Lot properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked with respective “TENDER NAME AND N UMBER NOT T0 BE OPENED BEFORE Wednesday 25th September, 2019 AT 10.00 AM
Deadline for submission will be on Wednesday 25th September, 2019 AT 10.00 AM. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Tabora Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (TUWASA) Board Room, near ‘Uwanja wa Vita’ in Tabora Municipality.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
