SUPPLY OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in the PPRA Tender Portal of 24th April, 2019.
Kahama Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (KASHWASA) has set aside funds in the Financial Year 2019/2020 for water production and intends to use part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for Supply of Water Treat me Chemicals. The Schedule of Requirements is briefly given in the table below:

Kahama Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (KASHWASA) now invites sealed bids from interested bidders to supply the said goods under three Lots namely Lot 1: Supply of Polymer Blend, Lot 2: Supply of Liquefied Chlorine Gas and Lot 3: Supply of Calcium Hypochlorite. Bidders may choose to tender for one, two or all three Lots.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and are open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Tender Board Secretary, Kahama Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority, Old Shinyanga Road, Block A. BC. Box 1246, Shinyanga, from 8.00am 4.00pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document (5) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (TZS. 100,000) for each Lot. Payment should be directly to the Authority’s Account No. 0111 058960000 CRDB Bank. Through the control number issued by the Authority
All Bids must be accompanied by tender security in the form of certified cheque.
The tenders in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “TENDER No. AE/063/2019/2020/G/1 Lot 1 for SUPPLY OF POLYMER BLEND, TENDER No. AE/063/2019/2020lGl1 Lot 2 for SUPPLY OF LIQUEFIED CHLORINE GAS and TENDER No.AE/063/2019/2020/G/1 LOT 3 for SUPPLY OF CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE , DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 10:00 HOURS LOCAL TIME ON 22ND JULY, 2019 must be delivered to the address under paragraph 5 above at or before 10:00 hours local time. Tender will be opened promptly thereafter in public and presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room within the Authority’s premises located at Old Shinyanga Road near NAFRAC Office’s.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender Opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
