THE PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF OFFICE BUILDING FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF DODOMA – HEADQUARTERS
The Dodoma City Council has set aside funds towards the cost of the proposed rehabilitation of the office building for the City Council of Dodoma – Headquarter during the financial year (2018/2019), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the fund to cover eligible payments under the contract for the proposed rehabilitation of the office building for the City Council of Dodoma- Headquarters.
The Dodoma Municipal Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified Building contractors capable of being registered in class VI and above to carry out the proposed rehabilitation of the office building for the City Council of Dodoma Headquarters.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding |NC8) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and are open to National Bidders only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Bid Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary of Council Tender Board, the City Council of Dodoma – HQ, 1“ Floor, Room No. 14 – Former CDA Building, P.O. Box 1249, Dodoma, from 08:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday except public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document (s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given on paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One hundred thousand Tanzanian Shillings Only (Tshs. 100,000/=). Payment should be made either by either banker’s draft; bankers’ cheque, or cash to the City Director, the City Council of Dodoma.
All Tenders must be accompanied with a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address: Secretary of Council Tender Board, the City Council of Dodoma – HQ. 1st Floor, Room No. 14, P. O. Box 1249, Dodoma;at or before 10:00 Hours, on Wednesday, 29th March, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the City Council of Dodoma- HQ, Former CDA Building, 2nd Floor, Conference Room, P. O. Box 1249, Dodoma.
Late bids, portion of bids, electronic Tenders. Tenders not received, bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
