INVITATION FOR BIDS
TO LEASE OPERATE ANO TRANSFER PROPERTY ON PLOT NO. 39 REGENT ESTATES ALONG BAGAMOYO ROAD IN DAR ES SALAAM
1. The Tanzania-Zambia Roadway Authority (TAZARA) intends to lease the property on Plot No. 39 Regent Estates, located along Bagameyo Road m Dar es Salaam Region. Plot Mo. 3% is to be leased on “as is, where is” basis and the procuring entity shall have further liability during the leasing period;
2. TAZARA now invites sealed tenders for the lease of the property on Plot No. 39 Regent Estates, located along Bagamoyo Road in Dar es Salaam Region,
3. Tendering will be conducted through the Open National Competitive Method as per procedures specified in the TAZARA Procurement & Supplies Manual of November, 2011:
4, Interested tenderers may inspect property on Plot No. 39 Regent Estates, located along Bagamoyo Road in Dar es Salaam Region, through the Office of the Secretary to the Central Tender Committee, at TAZARA Head Office, Room No. 210, Dar Es Salaam on any day between 08.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs. Monday to Friday inclusive, except on public holidays;
5. Interested and eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of The Secretary to the Central Tender Committee. Room NO. 210, TAZARA Head Office. Nyerere / Mandela Road Junction. P. 0. Box 2834, Dar-es-Salaam;
6, A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 200.00 (Two hundred dollars) Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft. or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority,
7. All tenders must be accompanied by an original tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of T2S 10,000,000.00 (Ten million Tanzanian Shillings);
8, All tenders in one original plus two copies, property filled In. and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address indicated below, at or before 11.00 hours EAT. on Friday, 31st December, 2021. Bids will be opened prompts thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at TAZARA, Head Office Conference Room in Der es Salaam – Tanzania; and & Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received and tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
