- The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for Operation of the Mpwapwa District Council during the Financial Year 2022/2023. It intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under contract for the Construction of Charcoal Dam at Nghambi Village. Mpwapwa District Council invites sealed tender from eligible Civil Engineering Contractors registered with Contractor’s Registration Board of Tanzania (CRB) (Specialist Contractors in Charcoal Dam works)
- Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013-Government Notice No.446 and are open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
- Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Head of Procurement
Management Unit or District Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Office of Mpwapwa District.
Visit will be conducted from 25/05/2023 to 06/06/2023 on official days except public holidays. - A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be Purchased by
interested Tenderers on a submission of written application to the address given upon payment of non-refundable fee of Tsh. 100,000.00 (One hundred thousand Tanzania shilling only). The payment should be done through Control number that will be provided from the finance Department of Mpwapwa District Council. - All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the format provided in the tendering
documents. - All tenders in one original plus one copy (enclosed in different envelop marked
ORIGINAL/COPY), properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the
District Executive Director, P.o Box 12, Mpwapwa at or before 12:00 hours local time on
07/06/2023. The envelope (outer cover) shall be clearly marked Tender Number. Tender will be
opened promptly thereafter in public and in the Presence of Tenderer’s Representatives who choose to attend in the opening in the Conference room at the Office of the District Executive Director, Mpwapwa District Council. - Tenderers are advised to visit sites for the above referred works at their own cost, time and
Convenience - Late Tender, portion of tenders and quotations not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
