Request for Expression of Interest For the Provision of Electrical Submersible Pumps

Worley Europe Umited as EPCm tarly Services Contractor for EACOP Project invites experienced and reputable Contractors to express their interest in Providing Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) for the East African Crude Oil Proeline (EACOP) Project.

The Republic of Uganda, the Uganda National Company (UNQC), the United Republic of Tanzania and/or Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation TPOC}, as well as other international oil companies partaking in the development of Exploration Areas 1, 1A, 2 and Kingfisher Discovery Area in the Albertine Graben in Uganda or their affiliates will participate in the implementation of the EACOP Project (Potential Pipeline Participants)

The LACOP Project development involves the engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of a crude oil export pipeline crossing Uganda and Tanzania and an onshore Marine Terminal in Chongoleani, near Langa Port in Tanzania.

BAIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF THE MATERIALS

An electric submersible pump (ESP) far abstraction of groundwater supplies on EACOP is required al each Pump Station. The ESPs will need to meet the following requirements Have a motor of:

  • water filled wet stator type, 3 phase, fully sealed from the borehole water with a temperature

compensating diaphragm or filter stone fitted.

  • have all bearings water lubricated?
  • have ail cable exit entry via a sealing gland to Prevent contamination of the motor filling water.
  • be of stainless steel (casing and shafts}
  • be equipped with a Mat 3 phase power cable in ‘and length suitable for use under water and in wet conditions of sufficient capacity to run the matter
  •  Be multistage pump = of-stainless steci construction EN 1.4301 / 3045S.construction EN 1.4301 / 3045S.
  •  have an integral non return value.
  • be suitable for pumping raw borehole water.
  • be suitable for use vertically in a borehole.
  • have the pump and mator as a close coupled integral unit.

A total of 15 ESPs (including spores) of three different Now ratings are required:

‘The ESP head BN requirement is to be confirmed, bulk likely to be in the order of 40 m.

A full data sheet will be provided as part of the enquiry.

The scope will include design, sourcing af material, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, supply of drawings and data, all sub-vendors oc-ordination, factory testing, delivery FCA vendor and guarantees.

MINMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Companies expressing their meres are invited to document them request with:

  • A commitment to and evidence that they have experience in developing local f national content value.
  •  Confirmation of the standards that the manufacture walls adhere to.

An experience list for similar equipment supplied to the Upstream Oil and Gas market of other markets in the last five (5) years.

  • A copy of their awn and mass suppliers ISO 9001:2018 and 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001 (t5045001:2015} current certification.

Extracts from their Supply Quality Management Procedures, showing how material quality control implemented in the supply chain and identity while positive material identification is implemented through the manufacturing process.

Interested companies which meet the minimum requirements and have the capacity to provide the goes listed above should express their interest by sending together with the above listed documents an email to CACOP- [email protected] (Max. Email Size: 20 MBs & All documents must be submitted in the English language} on or before 12 noon London Time, on 16 November 2021, Companies satisfactorily meeting the above minimum requirements will receive, subject to the signature of a Non-Disclosure

Agreement (NDA), a detailed per-qualification questionnaire for further evaluation by Company.

EACOP project reserves the right not to consider companies that submit on incomplete dossier.

Note: Only per-qualified companies will receive an invitation to submit their bid in furtherance of the Call for Tender process.
