1. The United of Tanzania has received financial from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second sector support project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contribution of Off Grid Water Supply Distribution Networks at ILALA and part of Kigamboni Municipalities
2.The Dar es salaam Water Supply and Sanitation invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Off Grid Water Supply Distribution Networks at ILALA and part of Kigamboni Municipalities:

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Banks Guidelines procurement of Goods Works and Non Consulting service under IBBD Loans and Credits & Grads by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2021, revised in July 2014 9Procurement Guidelines).and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guideline. In addition, please refer to paragraph 16 and 17 setting from the World Bank’s policy on conflict of Interest.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain information from Dar es salaam water supply and Sanitation Authority, Procurement Management Unit and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 0800 to 1600 hours, Monday to Friday inclusive, except on public holiday at the address given below.
5.A complete set of bidding documents in English be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and payments of a nonrefundable fee o Tsh 200,000.00/= ( Two hundred Thousand Tanzania Shillings) or its equivalents amount in freely comestibles currency .The method of payment will be by Direct or Telegraphic Transfer made to Name of Bank :CRDB BANK; Account Name;DAWASA ;Account Number : 01J1042996201:SWFT code CORUTZ TZ.Pay in slip should be submitted to be able to collect the bidding document from the secretary DAWASA Tender Board DAWASA Building;Dungo Malanga Street Mwananyamala Hospital Dar es salaam. The bidding documents may also be delivered to interested bidders as a digital version (PDF) through email upon payment of the mentioned fee.
6.Bids be delivered to the address below on or below 21st May ,2021, 14:00 hours local time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be predict opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on21st May 2021 hours’ local time
7.All Bids must be an accompanied by a Bid Security of TSH 250,000,000.00 or any equivalent amount in freely comortible currency in form of irrevocable Bank Guarantee.
