Invitation for Tender
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in PPRA Tender Portal and TEMDO Website Issue no 2019/2020 TPJ dated 26/7/2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Design Organization during the financial year 2019-2020. lt is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Proposed Partition of TEMDO Workshop.
3. The Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Design Organization now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Contractors registered in CLASS SEVEN AND ABOVE for construction of Proposed
Partition of TEMDO Workshop.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the TEMDO P.o. BOX 6111 ARUSHA NJIRO HILLS PLOT N0.268 BLOCK B from 08:00 am to 03:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000/= (One hundred thousand only). Payment should be by Control Number received from TEMDO.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
7. All Tenders in ONE original plus Three COPIES properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary TEMDO Tender Board, P.O. Box 6111 Arusha Situated at Njiro Hills, Plo: No. 268 Block 5 Office number 29 before 10:00 AM 12/08/2019.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TEMDO Conference Room, P.O. Box 6111 Arusha Situated at Njiro Hills, Plot No. 268 Block B.
8. Late tenders,portion tenders, electronic tenders,tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read outin
public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
